Before training to be a Psychotherapist I worked in HR and Organisational Development and further education.  As well as an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute I have a Master’s in Organisational Development from Sheffield Hallam University.  I have worked with commercial and public sector groups and teams  to think strategically and to facilitate change.  

Starting my training journey in psychotherapy in 2012 I have provided clients with therapy in the following organisations:

• University of Leicester Student Counselling
• The Leicester Counselling Centre
• Rutland House Counselling and Psychotherapy
• The Sheffield Women’s Counselling and Therapy Centre (now “Saffron”)
• Resolve in-house counselling for Derbyshire Health Care NHS Foundation Trust
• 2017 – 2023 Accredited Primary Care Counsellor for an iapt (improving access to psychological therapies) provider, Trent PTS, in Derby.  
• February 2023 – private practice.
